My house isn’t always tidy.
You can usually guess my emotional state by taking a look at the state of my living space. But I’m ok with that these days. I know that it doesn’t take long to pull it all back together.
Because my house is decluttered.
Decluttering my home has led to a more organized, serene, and enjoyable living environment. It’s contributed positively to my mental, physical, and emotional well-being. And I’ve gained so much time and space to pursue the creative outlets in my life.
My financial health has improved since decluttering as well.
When you go through this process and you become aware of what you own, decluttering can boost your finances too.
Here’s what you can expect:
- You will find decent stuff to sell
- You will naturally stop impulse shopping
- You will be happy at home, not out spending money
- You will enjoy cooking at home, in your welcoming, clutter-free kitchen
My home is always inviting and comfortable for guests now.
We do tend to avoid the basement, where the last 20% of the work still needs clearing out. It’s a good reminder for me though, when I reach the bottom of the stairs, look around, and say to myself,
“Damn…all this stuff used to be money.”
