There are a lot of books about Productivity.
And I’ve read many of them.
But the best book on productivity I’ve found is Someday Is Today by Matthew Dicks.
For a few reasons:
- Reason #1: Mindset. This book focusses on changing your mindset and introducing a sense of urgency into your life.
- Reason #2: Time. This book reflects on the 24 hours we each have every day and what we need to do in order to maximize that time.
- Reason #3: Action. This book provides an action plan for each chapter and idea so that you can get started implementing something, anything, right away.
- Reason #4: Perfection. This book rejects perfect if it will steal time and effort from your life. Instead always do the meaningful work.
- Reason #5: Delegation. This book relates delegation with immense productivity gains, freeing up time for your creative life.
If you are at all interested in Productivity, read or skim through the 22 simple, actionable ways to propel your creative life, I can’t recommend this book enough.
(And if you’ve read it, do you agree? What actions did you implement into your creative life? What actions will you implement next?)
